Kevin Gustafson

Founder and Member-Owner

Kevin received his J.D. from American University Washington College of Law in 2017 with an emphasis on Human Rights, International Law, Humanitarian Law, and Space Law. He was admitted to the DC Bar in 2017 after which he worked for years at Fastcase Legal Research as a product manager. It was the experience Kevin gained working for years during the housing crisis following the 2008 recession at various debtor rights and family law firms that made him want to become a lawyer.

Kevin is a champion of the common man, interested in developing worker-owned cooperatives, a former visiting scholar at the Blue Marble Space Institute of Science focused on developing a theory of political, social, cultural, and economic structures for a future Martian settlement. His interest in immigration law stems from his experience with his wife, Alka, who is an immigrant from India and a recent U.S. Citizen. Kevin’s long interest in flight has led him to pursue flight training in addition to his interest in Aviation Law. Kevin’s first start in law was a paralegal at a bankruptcy law firm and has ben a proponent of bankruptcy and its protections for more than a decade.
